We rent truck campers for use on your truck. They require tie downs, wiring and mounting to the truck. We leave the wiring on your truck after the rental and remove all the other items we installed. Tie downs may require holes drilled in the truck or bed liner. Mounting and using a camper can cause wear to the bed and liner.

Camper Equipment - Most rental campers include furnace, refrigerator, toilet or porta potti, water system, cook stove and LP gas. They sleep 4 to 6 persons. The lights are wired to your truck battery and will also work when plugged in at a campsite. In most cases is not practical to take the camper off the truck at the campsite. Allow 1/2 hour to take it off or on.

Normal Mounting - uses stake pocket tie downs: $139. For frame type tie downs, add $139. If you want the tie down hardware left on after rental, it is available with a partial credit towards our regular price.

Dually & 4 Wheel Drive Trucks - Fitting a truck camper on these taller, wider trucks can require more mounting time and special hardware. We include 1 1/2 hours and stake pocket tie downs. If it takes longer or requires extra materials, that extra cost is paid by the renter.

Short Wide Trucks - Our 8' fold-down type camper can be used on short, wide pickups. It extends over the tailgate. Each requires an added step to get in and out of safely. Many kinds are available at extra cost.

Compatibility - Not all trucks are the same width at the tailgate. Examine our rental camper and check its width at the tailgate area. Many late model trucks won't fit all campers.

Payment - If you pay by personal check, send it at least 2 weeks prior to departure. Otherwise, pay by cash, Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express or Travelers Check.

Deposits and Cancellations - $200 reservation deposit is required. It is refunded by mail, a few days after the camper is returned in clean and undamaged condition. Cancellations - The deposit is refunded with a $25 service charge, if the rental is cancelled at least 30 days prior to departure. Thereafter, no refund.

Insurance - YOUR AUTO INSURANCE is the coverage for PL, PD, and Comprehensive protection. We require proof of insurance. If your insurance company will not cover the rental, it is possible to buy coverage elsewhere. We can supply you with an application form and the names of sources.

Late Return - With advance notification: Pay for extra days. Without notification, you also lose deposit

Cleaning Charge - We expect the camper to be as clean as when it left. If the camper is not in clean condition when returned, a charge of $25 or more is made.
