General Rental Policy Information

DEPOSITS: The reservation deposit is $500. We take MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, cash & travelers checks. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS unless received 14 days before rental.

CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel the reservation at least 60 days before departure date, your deposit is refunded, with a $100 service charge. If you cancel 30 days before departure, a $150 service charge is made. Within the last 30 days, we charge $250.

EXCESS MILEAGE: We permit 300 miles of travel per day of rental, the first 100 of which is free. The additional mileage is $.35 per mile. If you total mileage exceeds the average of 300 miles per day, a $.50 per mile surcharge is made for excessive mileage. High mileage is the primary reason for low resale value and high maintenance on our rentals, and is why we charge this.

CONDITIONS: The gasoline tank fuel level is checked when you leave. YOU fill it to the same level when returning. IF the motorhome requires oil or maintenance during the trip, you are reimbursed for expenses up to $100 -- IF you bring back receipts. Repair or expenses over $100 require prior approval.

CLEAN UP: We expect the camper to be cleaned & holding tanks dumped when returned; otherwise, we charge $99 or more for cleanup dumping the tanks.

EQUIPMENT FAILURES: Post's reimburses you for repairs, and a nominal refund to cover actual hours of down-time during the rental. We do not pay for additional expenses regardless of the cause.

Insurance: YOUR AUTO INSURANCE is the coverage for PL, PD, and Comprehensive protection. We require proof of insurance. If your insurance company will not cover the rental, it is possible to buy coverage elsewhere. We can supply you with an application form and the names of sources.
